Lincoln families, mark your calendars for next Tuesday! We will be having our annual Title I parent meetings that day. The first meeting will be 8:30-9:30am during school, and the evening meeting will be from 6:30-7:30pm. Both meetings will take place at the Elementary in the Library Classroom. During these meetings we will share topics related to your child's education and the Title I program. All in attendance will have a chance to win a $50 gift card!

Students at CVJH and CVHS are regularly out of their seats with hands-on education opportunities and exploring various careers. Today JH students in Mr. Owen's Social Science class learned about the French and Indian War through Escape Room activities. Mrs. Ellison's JH FACS class practiced knife skills in the kitchen slicing various fruit to dehydrate. And HS students attended a Career Fair at NE Arma High School.










Mr. Traxson was invited to the 3rd grade classroom to share what it means to be a principal in our school and community. This is part of their civics lessons, every other week they will have a community member share their impact on Caney and the surrounding area. #LincolnLearn

The opening Caney High School football game at Erie tonight will air on KGGF Station US-98 with coverage starting at 6:45 pm. Game kick-off will be at 7:00 pm.
Students are working hard to get senior banners completed!





CVHS students new direct to film roll to roll printer being installed. Students will be learning how to use the machine within their graphics and imaging classes.

In addition to a sports drink for the Caney sports department at the football jamboree in Independence on Friday – Independence is also having a food drive for their local Food Bank if anyone is interested in donating to this group.
The high school football season kicks off in Independence on Fri, Aug 25 at the Jamboree. Order of Play: Indy vs Coffeyville at 7:30, followed by Caney vs Coffeyville at approximately 8:30, then Indy vs. Caney. Enter the south gate, admission is a sports drink or bottled water.
