Lincoln students will be visiting the the recreation building for the next three days taking a step back in time. Students will learn more about the Native American culture for the next two days. Then our 5th and 6th will enjoy learning about the civil war! A big thanks to the Adams family and their amazing artifacts!

Come celebrate Native American Heritage Month!! The Native American Student Association is sponsoring a fundraiser. Lincoln families, don’t forget next week, Tuesday, November 7th will be our third and fourth grade Veterans Day concert. Doors open at 6:40pm and students performing can head to their classrooms at 6:45. See you there!

A BIG thank you to Phillips 66 for presenting a Chemistry lesson today in the 4th and 5th grades. It was a great opportunity to see how the skills they learn everyday, apply to jobs in our area!








The Tri-Valley All-League Volleyball Teams have been voted on by the league coaches. Every league coach can vote for any player other than their own players. Congratulations to the girls making the all-league teams.

Congratulations to our Caney Valley Jr/Sr High School October Students of the Month, Athletes of the Month, and Spirit Award winners!

CVHS 8th graders had a full day learning about historical Kansas events and the state legislative system in Topeka. Students ventured to the top of the dome at the State Capitol, visited the floor of the House of Representatives and the Senate, as well as the Brown v. Board of Education National Historic Site.










The county, city and school district have partnered to seek resources during the water crisis. Yesterday, semis full of pallets of water mobilized to bring some relief to Caney residents and schools. Thank you to everyone who has donated!



What causes water to evaporate faster, wind or heat? Just ask a Bullpup fifth grader! Students experimented with different ways to evaporate water during PLTW today.


Today during science class, 6th grade students made cell models out of Legos.
