The girls golf team finished the season 4th in the state today. Two day team score was 795. They represented Bullpup Nation well with no seniors on the team. Three medaled, Emma Hockett was 10th with a 192. Ava Freisberg was 14th with a 196, Talynn Thornton was 19th with a 201.


Lincoln Families, the field trip to the CVHS FFA Fall Festival has been moved from Wednesday to Thursday due to the possibility of rain. Please remember to send a jacket with your student.

HS Volleyball at Cherryvale on Tuesday, October 20. The C team starts at 4:00, JV and varsity start at 5:00. All patrons will require temperature checks when entering, face coverings are mandatory for all indoor events. Visitor entrance will be the East front door; Caney will sit in the East bleachers and split the bleachers with the Erie fans. Visitors will use the commons area restrooms and will have concessions in that area.

The JV football game on Monday, October 19, will now be a team intersquad scrimmage. Start time is 6:00 pm at the main stadium. Our guys will scrimmage for one half. Unfortunately, Baxter Springs canceled the JV game on their end. There will be no fee to enter the scrimmage and no concession stand.
Caney boys win the TVL team cross country championship today! Three were top 10 earning a medal. Top 4 boys... Stephen Kyler 4th, Grady Postrach 7th, Mikey Bradley 9th, John Wheatley 11th.
The girls team placed 3rd with Monaequea O’Shields 6th earning a medal. Rounding out the top 4 are; Johnna Rosson 12th, Deandrea O’Shields 18th, Krymsyn Clopp 19th.

The girls golf team earned the right to compete in the state meet in Cheney on October 19 and 20. The tee time starts at 10:00 am Monday morning. Congratulations to the golf team and their coaches, good luck! Go Bullpups!
TVL Cross Country will be held at Fredonia on Saturday, October 17 starting at 10:00 am. The meet will be ran at the Fredonia Golf Course. The golf course is South of town on Harper Road. Runners will be starting on hole 7, which is located on the North end of the course. Please turn on Golf Course Road, parking will be located in the adjacent field from the course. Please follow the signs and parking attendants.
Varsity volleyball at Neodesha High School on 10/17. Masks are required at all times when indoors. There will be temperature checks for all fans, and there will be no concession stand available.

Winter Sports Physicals – no student, 7-12, will be able to start a winter practice if they don’t currently have a physical on file in the Athletic Office. You can pick up a physical form from the high school office or the Board of Education if needed.
Varsity football at Baxter Springs on 10/16 at 7:00 pm. Fans: Masks required at the gate and when moving around, enter at one of two gates on the west side, then use the stairs and the track to access and move to the east side stands. Only home fans will sit on the west side. No fans allowed on the field at the conclusion of the athletic contest, there will be limited concessions available near the visitor stands and restroom facilities are located on the visitor side.
Junior high football on 10/15. The football game will be played at the stadium at Erie High School, game time is 6:00.
This will be a 9-man game, they don’t have enough players to play 11-man.
MS Football Procedures
Admissions: There will be one gate on the southwest side, please practice social distancing.
Face coverings/masks will be required at all USD 101 Events.
Seating: Home patrons will sit in the west bleachers. Visitors will sit in the east bleachers.
Concessions: There will be one concession stand available.
JH volleyball on 10/15. All volleyball matches will be played at Erie High School, nothing will be in Galesburg.

The varsity girls golf team placed 2nd in the regional tournament today with a 402. This qualifies the team for the state meet on Oct. 19-20 at Cheney. Ava Freisberg placed 2nd(92), Emma Hockett 7th(101), Saige Scott 9th(102), Talynn Thornton 16th(107), and Anna Washburn 33rd(126). There were 53 players competing today. Great job Ladies! We had three medal in the top 10.


JV football AT Parsons on 10/12, game time 5:00. The stadium is located at 800 E. Main. Covid Procedures: Fans will only enter on the visitor side of the playing field at the northeast corner of the field. Masks will be required and temperatures will be taken. ONLY if there is inclement weather will visitors be allowed on the home side but are asked to sit in the far northern section on the yellow bleachers.
