Home junior high basketball games in Caney tonight, December 13. The boys will play in the grade school gym. Humboldt has canceled the C boys, so we will have a game like scrimmage for our C boys at 5:00. Followed by the B boys at 6:00 and A boys at 7:00. The girls will play at the high school in the secondary gym, the B girls will play at 6:00 followed by the A girls around 7:00. At the high school enter the northwest doors by Home of the Bullpups, at the grade school enter the back northeast door.
Packets are going home with students today for our Optional In School Vaccination Clinic on Fri, Dec 17. If you choose for your child to participate, please send completed forms to the office by Fri, Dec 17. No vaccinations will be given without a completed consent form!

Celebrate the Season with the Caney Valley Jr/Sr High Bands, Choir and the Lincoln 5th & 6th Grade Band at their Winter Concert on Tuesday, December 14 at 7pm. CVHS Auditorium

The junior high A and B girls and boys basketball teams will travel to Fredonia on Thursday, December 9. All games will be played at the high school. The B girls start at 4:30, the A girls around 5:30. The A boys will begin around 6:40 followed by only two quarters of B boys around 8:00. If any games run ahead of schedule they will not wait to start them.
The high school basketball teams travel to Chanute on Tuesday, December 7. The varsity girls in the main gym and JV boys in the auxiliary gym, both start at 6:00. Followed by the JV girls in the auxiliary gym and varsity boys in the main gym. Visitor seating will be on the north end of west bleachers in the main gym. Masks are recommended but not required. First and Second Grade Christmas Concert tonight, December 7th at 7:00pm. "The best way to spread Christmas cheer, is singing loud for all to hear!" See you there!

The junior high basketball teams play at home on December 6 against Leon Bluestem. The girls will play in the Lincoln GS gym, B girls at 6:00 followed by the A girls. The boys will play in the secondary gym at the high school, B boys at 6:00 followed by the A boys. At the grade school enter the northeast back door only. At the high school enter the northwest door only by ‘Home of the Bullpups.” All other doors will be locked.
Congratulations to Brad, Bryan, and Vince Naccarato as well as Tony Rogers. These individuals were inducted into the Caney Valley Wall of Fame this afternoon at the 48th Kan-Okla Wrestling Classic. Their early contributions to the program set the stage for a long line of success for the Caney wrestling community.

Lincoln parents, notes for the Holiday Food Drive went home today. We will be collecting nonperishable items throughout next week. This is a class competition put on by the STUCO, so make sure you help your class win while also helping families in our community! #PupNation

As a reminder, Bullpup Family, Friday Dec 3 is an early dismissal day (Lincoln @ 12:30, CVHS @ 12:50) and Monday, Dec 6 is a Professional Development Day for staff-No School for Students.

Hat Day at Lincoln tomorrow, Friday December 3rd. Bring $1 to wear your hat for the day! Proceeds will go to support additional food for students in need over the holidays. Thanks for your support!

Friday, Dec 3 will be a half day of school due to the number of staff planning to attend the funeral of a former CVHS instructor. Lincoln will dismiss at 12:30 followed by CVHS at 12:50. All students will have the opportunity to eat lunch before leaving for the day.
