The junior high basketball teams travel to Humboldt today for their final game of the season. The girls play in the Main Fieldhouse, 5:00-C girls, 6:00-A girls, 7:00-B girls. The boys play in the old gym, 5:00-C boys, 6:00-B boys, 7:00-A boys. Both gyms are next to each other at their high school.
The junior high basketball teams have a make-up game AT Galesburg today, 2/11. In the north gym, the A girls begin at 5:00. They will have a player recognition night, then the A boys will play. In the south gym, the B boys play at 5:00 followed by the B girls around 6:00.
A big thanks to the A.C.E.S. After School Program and Boys and Girls Club of Caney for the National Anthem performance at Tuesday night's game! Grades kindergarten through 5th signed the National Anthem before the varsity boy's win over Cherryvale.

Senior Night is tonight! (Tues Feb 8) Prior to the Varsity Boys Game
Only the junior high boy’s B and A teams play in Independence today, no girls games. Their games will be played at Independence Middle School. The B boys will play at 4:00 and the A boys around 5:00.
The high school basketball teams travel to play in Wyandotte, Ok. tonight. All games are in one gym. The JV girls play at 4:00, the JV boys around 4:45, the varsity girls at 6:00, and the varsity boys around 7:40.
Important Message - Tomorrow, Friday February 4th is now a Virtual Professional Development Day. No activities or athletics. Continued road conditions and inclement weather will prevent us from safely transporting students. Monday February 7th is now a normal day of school.
Miss Kansas, Taylor Clark visited the elementary and shared her road to the crown and how she now helps Kansans through her title. She also put on an amazing percussion performance with students and on her trap set.

The high school basketball teams travel to play in Coffeyville tonight. The JV boys play at the Community Elementary (102 N. Cline Rd) starting at 4:30. The JV girls play at the high school at 4:30, followed by the varsity girls at 6:00, then the varsity boys at 7:45. Their high school is currently under construction. For this reason, parents and fans, please only enter through the South side of the high school. Map attached if needed.
The junior high basketball teams will host Eureka tonight. In the secondary gym, the C boys start at 5:00, followed by the B boys around 6:00, then the B girls around 7:15. In the main gym, the C girls will play only two quarters starting at 5:15, followed by the A girls at 6:00, then the A boys around 7:30.
