We will start our Lincoln Penny Drive on Monday the 15th and go through the week to the 19th. The winning class will receive Pizza and Punch for the most points party!! The rules are attached, make sure you look at the point system! STUCO will count the totals daily and announce the winning class Friday afternoon! Cheer Tryout sign up sheets for Junior High and High School are available in the main office at both the grade school and high school. Please return your completed form by Friday, March 12. Lincoln Families, don’t forget about the Scholastic Book Fair going on now in the Lincoln Memorial Elementary library this week! Students have access to the book fair throughout the school day and in-person shopping is available for students and a parent Wednesday and Thursday from 4-7pm. Please enter through the front entry doors, masks must be worn and temperatures will be checked as you enter. There will be limited space so there may be a line. Please practice social distancing. KSHSAA vouchers have been given to the players and cheerleaders, they will hand the vouchers out to their spectators. Entry will only be allowed with the KSHSAA voucher, cost $7 per person, under 5 free but still must have a voucher. Seating for each school will be marked, look for the Caney sign. There are extra KSHSAA vouchers in the CVHS main office, if any Caney fans want to pick up a voucher at CVHS, drop by and pick one up until they are gone. It will still cost $7 once you present your voucher to enter the game at Riverton.

Senior Jake Stanton just finished 2nd in the class 3-2-1A State Wrestling Tournament. Jake represented CVHS with class, congratulations on a good tournament to end his CVHS wrestling career! We are proud of you. Senior Jake Stanton, the 2021 Individual #113 State Runner-up.

Senior Jake Stanton will be competing in the class 3-2-1A State Wrestling Tournament on Saturday, February 27. This will take place in Hays, Ks. at Fort Hays State University. Jake earned this opportunity with wins at districts, regionals, and sub-state. He is 17-2 going into the state tournament and is a three-time state qualifier and returning 6th place medalist at last year’s 4A state tournament. Good luck Jake as you close out your high school wrestling career at CVHS representing Caney Valley at the State tournament!!
