Our Mission at Caney Valley is to reach each student wherever they are. One example of our mission in action is improving students’ Individual Plan of Study at CVHS. You may have heard your student mention their IPS class, which was officially introduced in the 18-19 school year. Students use this time to plan their ICAP (Individual Career Academic Plan). This means the courses they choose over their time at CVHS will have them best prepared for their future college and career endeavors.

Caney boasts a student body that is highly engaged in multiple sports and activities. You’ll the find the majority of our athletes are multiple sport individuals while also juggling membership to organizations such as FFA, Student Council and FCA, all while maintaining their regular schoolwork. Involvement in clubs, activities, and sports is an excellent way to keep students engaged, and enhances their overall academic experience.
