Parents of Preschoolers and Kindergarteners, your student's first day will be August 23rd. You will be contacted by your student's classroom teacher to schedule their Ages and Stages Questionnaire to take place between August 17-22. Can't wait to see you all August 23, for your student's first day of school!
We're counting down the days until we welcome students back into our schools! Jr High Back to School night is Tues, Aug 15 6-8 pm and Lincoln Meet the Teacher Night for grades 1-6 is Wed, Aug 16 5:30 pm-6:30 pm. Our first day of school is Aug 17 for grades 1-12 and PK & K begins Aug 23! We're looking forward to a great year for Every Student, Every Day!
As we prepare for the upcoming school year, free sports physicals are being offered for Jr/Sr High Students, Thurs, Aug 3 9am-4pm during enrollment -- CVHS gym. Practices begin Aug 14, all participants must have a Physical on file. (EDIT: Football practice will follow video)
We hope you're enjoying your summer Bullpup Family! Enrollment will take place on Thursday, August 3. Parents/Guardians of returning students, be watching your email for your student's snap code. New students can enroll in-person between 9 am and 7 pm in the CVHS Gymnasium.
Caney Basketball Camp - The CVHS basketball teams will be hosting a skills camp for all girls and boys 2nd-8th grade. The camp will be at Caney Valley High School July 10-12 from 9:30 to 11:30 am. Cost will be $25. Contact Coach Washburn with any questions. eswashburn@caney.com
Caney Football Camp - July 10-14. Junior High Camp is from 7am to 8:30am. Grade School Camp 1st-6th grade is from 8am to 9am. High School Camp is from 6pm to 8:00pm. Cost is $25 a person. This will cover insurance and a camp T-shirt - Bring money or checks the first day of camp. If they bring checks please make them out to Criss Davis.

Incoming 6th through 8th grade students, it isn't too late to sign up for the K-State Summer LEAPES Program starting tomorrow @ CVHS. It will run from 9am-12pm and will involve computer science, robotics, and drones. There will be a High School Boys Basketball meeting Thursday, June 1st, at 6 pm in the High School cafeteria. To discuss the summer schedule in order to determine practice and workout times. Hope to see everyone there. Currently, weights start on Monday, June 5th, at 7 am.

Good luck to our State Track and Field Qualifiers as they compete at Wichita State University--Cessna Stadium on May 26 & 27.
Incoming 6th - 8th grades, sign up for the K-State LEAPES Summer Camp offered for Free in the month of June. Mr. Murdock and Mrs. Locke are ready to help students with projects involving computer science, robotics, and drones. This will take place at CVHS. Complete the attached application form and email to tbruce@caney.com or turn it into the Caney Valley Board of Education office before Wednesday, May 31st. This class has a 20 student limit so don't wait!
