The Pride of Caney Marching Band was represented in the K-State All Star Marching Band during halftime this past weekend. The band was represented by Ava Allan, Samantha Roberts Dildine, Daniel Bauer, Madelyn Mills, and Aubree Merryman. It is an honor to be accepted into this group of 100 High School Marching Band students from throughout the state.

CVHS 8th and 10th grade students are learning real life applicable skills at RealityU today. They are learning budgeting, planning for emergencies, making payments and balancing checkbooks.

3rd Grade had a busy week last week. They have been observing the life cycle of monarch butterflies and had the privilege of releasing the first. That same day they took in the annual Old Iron Days in Fredonia. #LincolnLearn

The Caney Football game today against Christ Prep Academy will be aired on Sonshine 98.9. With a 2:40 pregame show and a 3:00 pm game start.
Next week is Homecoming week! CVHS Students, join us in class competition spirit days all week, and the entire district will go all out on Friday with Bullpup Colors! Thursday is the parade and pep rally downtown after the Jr High game (at approx 8 pm). Friday, Candidates will pick the most spirited students during a morning assembly pep rally at Lincoln. Festivities conclude with coronation at 6 pm and the Homecoming dance after the game for high school students.
