It's FFA Week and chapter members have been busy throughout the district with activities including providing meals for teachers and students and visiting Lincoln!
It may be winter, but these boys of fall are already preparing for football season with helmet fittings today.
Congratulations to our Wrestling State Qualifiers-Heath Ellis, Brayden Harris and Josh Moore. They are scheduled to depart Thursday for Fort Hayes where they will compete at the 3A State Wrestling Tournament at Fort Hayes State University on Feb 25-26.
Weather Updates as of Feb 23: ACES will run as scheduled today. No Indian Ed tutoring @ Lincoln after school. No after school activities or practices @ CVHS. In the event we are unable to attend on-site tomorrow, we will utilize Remote Learning.
The high school basketball teams play their last regular season road game today, 2/22. They will travel to Fredonia. The JV girls start at 4:30 and will play at Bateman Middle School. The JV boys game will follow, also at the Middle School, they will only play two quarters. The varsity girls start at 6:00 at the high school followed by the varsity boys.

The high school basketball teams play their last regular season home game today. They will host the Dewey Bulldoggers. The varsity girls begin at 6:00 in the main gym followed by the varsity boys. The JV boys begin at 6:00 in the secondary gym, followed by the JV girls.

The junior high basketball teams travel to Humboldt today for their final game of the season. The girls play in the Main Fieldhouse, 5:00-C girls, 6:00-A girls, 7:00-B girls. The boys play in the old gym, 5:00-C boys, 6:00-B boys, 7:00-A boys. Both gyms are next to each other at their high school.
The junior high basketball teams have a make-up game AT Galesburg today, 2/11. In the north gym, the A girls begin at 5:00. They will have a player recognition night, then the A boys will play. In the south gym, the B boys play at 5:00 followed by the B girls around 6:00.
A big thanks to the A.C.E.S. After School Program and Boys and Girls Club of Caney for the National Anthem performance at Tuesday night's game! Grades kindergarten through 5th signed the National Anthem before the varsity boy's win over Cherryvale.
