CVHS 8th, 10th, and JAG-K students are gaining valuable financial literacy skills today through RealityU! 💰
With the help of dedicated community volunteers, students are learning how education impacts their financial future. Each student receives a monthly income and navigates real-life scenarios—managing credit card debt, student loans, family expenses, and more.
Throughout the event, students track their spending using a checkbook register as they visit 12 different booths, each representing essential services and products adults typically manage each month.
This hands-on experience helps prepare our students for the real-world decisions they’ll face in the years ahead! 🌟
Thank you to Mrs. Sutton's Culinary students for preparing the lunch for our community volunteers.

🚗💨 Our Project Lead the Way students put their learning into motion today at CVHS!
They designed and built rubber band cars to explore drag, propulsion, and engineering concepts—then put them to the test racing down the main hall. 🏁✨
Hands-on projects like this give students the chance to problem-solve, think critically, and see science in action. 🔧📚

Join us tomorrow evening (Friday, Sept 5) for 🇺🇸 🇺🇸 Military Appreciation Night 🇺🇸 🇺🇸 at our season opener at home. There will be special flag processional at 6:40 pm, and kick off is at 7.

✨ Our youngest learners are busy exploring, creating, and discovering the world around them! In kindergarten, play isn’t “just play” — it’s how children build problem-solving skills, practice teamwork, and develop their imagination. 🧩🎨🧸
Hands-on play is the foundation of learning, and we love watching our kindergartners grow through every block tower, art project, and game they share. 💙🐾

A Message from Cherryvale regarding construction taking place at their track:
Please be mindful when attending tonight’s game at Cherryvale. It is an active construction site as a new track is being built. There are tarps on the south end zone of the field on the old track. Use the tarps to get to the newly poured concrete to make your way around to the visitor side. Do not get on the track on the north end zone. Please use the tarps to access the concrete track.

Students in Mr. Moore’s science class took on a hands-on STEM challenge, working together to design and build popsicle stick bridges. 🧪🌉 Their creativity and problem-solving skills were put to the test as the bridges were evaluated for strength and durability — and some held up better than others! 💪

We know there’s been some confusion. A nearby district with a similar name and colors has been referenced on social media recently — but that was not USD 436 Caney Valley. Thanks for your continued support, Bullpups! 💙❤️

Beginning this school year, we will have a late start schedule once a month on the third Wednesday.
Here’s what you need to know:
✅ Transportation – Buses will run at their regular times.
✅ Breakfast – Served for students who arrive at the regular time and for those coming in later with the late start.
✅ Supervision – Adult supervision will be available at school for all students who arrive at the normal time.
This schedule is designed so families won’t experience disruption—your morning routine can stay the same if needed. However, if you’d like your student to take advantage of a later start to the day, you may do so on these dates.
We’ll share reminders each month so you’re always up to date! 🗓️💙
