Family Fun Night at Lincoln Elementary tomorrow! Doors open at 6:30 and will go until 7:30. Come enjoy the night as a family making crafts and playing games!
Lincoln Elementary had a very eventful assembly Friday. Congratulations to the Students of the Month and Top Readers for all their hard work. Students SMASHED their October reading counts goal and mummified Mr. Traxson. Last but not least Mr. Ethel Wilson was honored for her 21 years of service as a volunteer at Lincoln Elementary.
JH Wrestling practice starts on Monday for those that are planning to participate;.
Just a reminder that students in junior high and high school who plan to participate in winter sports need to have a current yearly physical on file in order to participate. Physical forms are available at the high school athletic office. Practice will begin on Monday, November 18th.

Just want to remind everyone that the CHC flu clinic form is due tomorrow for CVHS!CHC will be here on the October 29th to administer the shot.
Lincoln reminder that completed flu forms need to be returned to the main office tomorrow, Tuesday October 22nd. Community Health Center will be at Lincoln next week on the 29th for their flu outreach to administer those shots.

Yesterday Lincoln students ran a flawless Fire/Evacuation Drill in the morning. Thank you to the Caney Police Department and Caney Fire Department for being a part of our drill.
Attention parents of Freshman!!! Thursday, October 24, 2019 all freshman will take the PreACT 9®. This test is for schools and districts who want to support their 9th graders with an early practice experience for the ACT test. It also provides an early indicator of college and career readiness that helps educators, students, and parents identify areas of academic strength and opportunity (www.act.org).
Students will take this assessment during their morning classes. Please encourage your student to get a good night's rest the night before and a good breakfast the morning of the test. It's never too early to start preparing for college and careers.
Montgomery County Health Department will be at the City Rec. Building Wednesday October 16th from 10:00am - 4:00pm administering Flu and mandated shots.
LINCOLN REMINDER: Picture retakes are scheduled for Thursday, October 17th. If you would like your child's photo retaken, please send the original picture envelope and photos with your student that day. If you have any questions, please give us a call here in the office at 879-9240.
