7th - 12th grade schedules will be available in the Caney Valley High School lobby from 1:30 - 3:30 today and 9:00 - 3:30 Tomorrow. Schedule changes can be made the first day of school. School will begin on Wednesday August 26th.
Non-Refundable Activity Tickets for junior high and senior high activities can be purchased starting on the first day of school in the main office. These are $6.00 and are for regular home events. Activity tickets for elementary age students can be purchased at the elementary school main office.

Parents/guardians of Remote Learners we are hosting two meetings on Monday, Aug 24th from 3-4 and 6-7 PM at the CVHS gym. You can choose either meeting to attend. Reminder if you have not enrolled yet, please make sure to as soon as possible as we finalize plans for this year.

Fall Practice…..The junior high and high school Fall sports seasons officially begin on Monday, August 17. All participants are expected to be at practice, times are listed below. Complete physicals MUST be turned in to practice by this date. Bring your own water bottle and masks. High school football will begin at 6:00 pm – high school volleyball, cross country, junior high football, and junior high volleyball will all begin at 4:00 pm. High school girls golf will start practice at the course at 3:30, meet at the school by 3:15 if you need a ride. High school and junior high cheerleaders will start on Tuesday, August 18 at 4:15. Check with your head coach if you have any additional questions about your sport.
Community Health Center of Southeast Kansas will be performing sports physicals today in the small gym during enrollment. Parents need to complete both the CVHS physical form as well as the CHC Consent Form. Both forms can be picked up at the Board Office or at the High School.

Congratulations CVHS Grads, Keaton Herrmann, Emma Poole and Vince Nacin, for being recognized at The Night of Scholars by the Examiner-Enterprise and Patriot Auto Group in Bartlesville. 12 area schools were represented and Keaton was the Sutton Avian Conservation Scholarship recipient as well as the First Runner up Scholarship recipient and Emma was the Third runner up scholarship recipient. Jace Kaminska was also recognized as an Athlete of the Month. Good night for #pupnation!

Starting on July 29 CVHS volunteer workouts are back open under CVHS coaches’ supervision only. Starting on August 3 only Fall sports and students in the supervised weight room can use CVHS facilities. Face masks must be worn indoors; participants must bring and use their own water bottles. Your coaches will address Covid procedures, and they will inform you of changes that need to happen in your upcoming specific sports. On August 17, regular season practices will begin for all Fall sports at CVHS.
