The JV game at Neodesha has been cancelled, our JV team will have an inter squad scrimmage on the practice field at 6:00 pm tonight. The public is invited and encouraged to show up if they want to watch the scrimmage.

The CVHS volleyball team won 1st place at the Oswego volleyball tournament Saturday!! Congratulations our coaches and players, great job!

🐦🔨 Our Junior High Intro to Tech students nailed their first project of the year—literally! They used their new carpentry skills to build birdhouses, and we think the local birds are going to love their new homes. 🏠✨

🍭🍬It's Eat Em Up Candy Time!!! 🍭🍬Join us this evening (Thurs, Sept 18) under the ✨ downtown lights ✨ for the Homecoming Parade and Pep Rally. Parade Begins at 8 pm!

🌱 Kindergarten engineers at work! After reading Jack and the Beanstalk and learning about the Three Sisters planting method, our little designers took on the challenge of building the tallest free-standing beanstalk using only pipe cleaners. Their goal? A beanstalk that could stand tall without tipping over—and they rose to the challenge! 💡✨ #LincolnLearn

The After Prom Committee meeting is tonight (Wed, Sept 17) at 6 pm in the high school cafeteria.

Our first graders kicked off their very first day of Partner Reading. Smiles, teamwork, and lots of great books being shared! Meanwhile, in Kindergarten, we saw engineering at its finest during free time with creative designs, big imaginations, and problem-solving in action! We love watching our students grow, learn, and inspire each other every day! #LincolnLearn

Your CVHS Platinum Pups Cheerleaders 📣 🪩 will be hosting their youth cheer clinic for a performance at halftime of the Varsity football game on 💖💖 Pink Out Night 💖💖(Friday, Sept 26). The Pride of Caney Marching Band proudly represented Bullpup Nation at the Kansas State Fair Marching Band Competition! 🎺🥁
They brought home two 1 ratings — one for Street Marching and another for Standing Performance. Way to go, band! 👏🐾

Our 2nd graders are learning about the importance of 9/11, honoring the heroes, and taking part in a meaningful activity to help them remember this historic day—24 years later.

CVHS 8th, 10th, and JAG-K students are gaining valuable financial literacy skills today through RealityU! 💰

With the help of dedicated community volunteers, students are learning how education impacts their financial future. Each student receives a monthly income and navigates real-life scenarios—managing credit card debt, student loans, family expenses, and more.

Throughout the event, students track their spending using a checkbook register as they visit 12 different booths, each representing essential services and products adults typically manage each month.

This hands-on experience helps prepare our students for the real-world decisions they’ll face in the years ahead! 🌟

🚗💨 Our Project Lead the Way students put their learning into motion today at CVHS!

They designed and built rubber band cars to explore drag, propulsion, and engineering concepts—then put them to the test racing down the main hall. 🏁✨

Hands-on projects like this give students the chance to problem-solve, think critically, and see science in action. 🔧📚
