Circle of Pups student-athletes have had an eventful April, bringing home multiple awards! 🐾🏅
Four Bocce teams and one Cheer team competed in the Unified Bocce/Cheer competition in Girard through Special Olympics Kansas. Three of our Bocce teams earned silver medals in their heats, and one team tied for gold! Our Unified Cheer team also had an outstanding performance, finishing 2nd overall. 🎉
These teams included CV students from 3rd–12th grades, both with and without disabilities—truly representing the spirit of inclusion and teamwork. ❤️
Earlier this month, we also had two students attend the Youth Leadership Summit through Special Olympics Kansas in McCune. There, they learned about activism and connected with students from across Southeast Kansas.
We are so proud of all of our Circle of Pups athletes for their hard work, leadership, and heart! 🐾💙
