Attention parents of Freshman!!! Thursday, October 24, 2019 all freshman will take the PreACT 9®. This test is for schools and districts who want to support their 9th graders with an early practice experience for the ACT test. It also provides an early indicator of college and career readiness that helps educators, students, and parents identify areas of academic strength and opportunity (www.act.org).
Students will take this assessment during their morning classes. Please encourage your student to get a good night's rest the night before and a good breakfast the morning of the test. It's never too early to start preparing for college and careers.
LINCOLN REMINDER: Picture retakes are scheduled for Thursday, October 17th. If you would like your child's photo retaken, please send the original picture envelope and photos with your student that day. If you have any questions, please give us a call here in the office at 879-9240.
Montgomery County Health Department will be at the City Rec. Building Wednesday October 16th from 10:00am - 4:00pm administering Flu and mandated shots.

A BIG Thank You to Mrs. Mattox for all of her hard work on the Book Fair! She went above and beyond making this happen for Lincoln Elementary. Also Lincoln staff would like to thank all those who purchased items. Especially those who purchased books for the teachers' wish lists. Another day of service learning at CVHS
Tomorrow, Tuesday Oct 8th we will officially begin utilizing the new security front entrance for the Jr/Sr High school. This is the only point of entry for public and students during the school day. Thank you!

Senior/Parent night will begin at 6:20 pm on Friday, October 11 at the football field. Seniors and parents meet at the east end zone at 6:00 so we can get you in the correct order. You will be introduced and stand on the north sideline. Go support the seniors and their parents.

Lincoln Title paraprofessional Mrs. Wren has spent the last few weeks with the 4th grade teaching students about informational text structures. Through this experience students learned all about BATS!
Big day at Lincoln tomorrow! First we have hat day for a $1 dollar donation. Proceeds go to help Jess Vincent, husband of employee Sandy Vincent. Second, booster pie fundraiser forms are due. Lastly the book fair will open Friday. A portion of sales will go to help Lincoln Elementary library.
