Text Box:                  I grew up in Niotaze and attend elementary school in Niotaze. I graduated from Sedan High School in 1968. I attended Cowley Country Community on an athletic scholarship and later graduated from Emporia State University. My First teaching job was teaching social studies and driver education at Wellington Jr. High School. While teaching at Wellington I earned a Masters Degree in School Administration from Wichita State University. After eight years of teaching I became the high school principal at Lyndon and stayed there for fourteen years. I was superintendent of school at Altoona-Midway for five years before coming to Caney.
School has always been an important part of my life — I have been in school all my life. The best thing about school is the “kids”. School exist for one reason and one reason only KIDS!
